On my second day in Gettysburg I went to the Historic Daniel Lady Farm just outside of town. Where I toured the grounds and watch a reenactment battle between the Union Blue and the Rebel Grey. It was put on by the Gettysburg Battlefield Preservation Association (GBPA), for the 160th anniversary of the battle of Gettysburg.
I took hundreds of photos. Some turned out amazing. Some ended up being blurry. But I enjoyed snapping each and every one. This is simply a collection of some of my favorites. With a little photo shopping I must admit. Power lines, telephone polls, tourist in t-shirts… kind of ruin my immersion. So they, for the most part, had to go.
But even with my limited artistic editing. I hope you enjoy looking at them. Even more so, if you are so inclined, I hope you are able to go and see a reenactment there yourself. Be it with an O2 tank or new lungs. It’s a neat experience. And I hope you take lots of pictures to share.
